intermediate art
Intermediate Art
is the second course for art study at University High School. The course
emphasizes what you have already learned about the study of the elements of art
and principles of design, color theory, vocabulary, art criticism, art history,
and safety in Beginning Art. Students
will have new experiences in producing two-dimensional and three-dimensional
artworks that take what you have learned in Beginning to the next level. Students
may decide upon completion of this course to continue in their artistic
endeavors by taking Advanced Art and AP Studio Art. However, students may also
just want to take a second art class without the pressure of completing a
portfolio and that is perfectly acceptable.
